COMMUNITY PARK

The Summerwind Community Park is a private neighborhood space created for families, play, and connection. Whether you are spending time with your children, meeting up with neighbors, or attending a community event, this section provides the key information you need to enjoy the park safely and respectfully.

Community events help strengthen the relationships that make Summerwind special, and the park plays an important role in bringing neighbors together. To preserve the beauty, safety, and enjoyment of this shared space, residents and guests are asked to follow the established park rules and usage guidelines.

Park Hours

The park is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from September 1 through May 31 and from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from June 1 through August 31. Park lighting is scheduled by season and may also be adjusted for Board-approved special events.

Safety at the Park

For the safety of all residents, children ages 14 and younger must be supervised by a parent or guardian while using the park. Families are also encouraged to keep children out of the streets, especially during busy traffic periods such as early mornings and late afternoons.

The park is intended to be a safer place for recreation and gathering within the community, and all residents can help by using the space responsibly and respectfully.

REMINDER:

  • Children 14 and under must have parental supervision while in the park.

  • Unsupervised children 14 and under may be escorted home or held until a parent is contacted.

  • Reminder about kids avoiding streets and using the park instead, especially during peak traffic times.

Guests & Access

The Summerwind Community Park is a private amenity for the community and its use is intended for homeowners and their guests. Visitors using the park must be accompanied by a resident.

This helps protect the park for those who live in the community while ensuring the space remains welcoming, safe, and well cared for.

Enforcement

Park rules are enforced to protect the safety, appearance, and enjoyment of this shared community space. A first violation may result in a warning letter, while repeated violations within six months may lead to a temporary suspension of park privileges.

These measures are intended to support consistent use of the park and preserve it for the benefit of all residents.

REMEMBER:

  • Violations may result in a warning letter for the first offense.

  • Repeated violations within six months may lead to temporary suspension of park privileges for the owner (e.g., 2 weeks, then 6 weeks).

  • Enforcement is in addition to any other remedies available under HOA governing documents and applicable law.
